My name is Lisa Jenkinson, a Registered General Nurse (RGN) with a Master’s degree (MSc) and Founder of LJ Aesthetics. I specialise in non-surgical aesthetic treatments, combining advanced clinical knowledge with a personalised approach to help clients achieve natural, confidence-boosting results.
Throughout my nursing career, I have gained extensive experience in Neurosurgery and Intensive Care (ICU), where I developed advanced clinical skills, meticulous attention to detail and an in-depth understanding of facial anatomy, patient safety and compassionate care. These principles continue to underpin every treatment I provide.
As a registered nurse with the UK Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC), I practise to the highest professional and ethical standards, giving my clients confidence that their care is safe, regulated and evidence-based. I am also a member of the Royal College of Nursing (RCN), the Aesthetic Complications Expert (ACE) Group, and hold comprehensive specialist cosmetic insurance.
Aesthetics has always been a passion of mine, bringing together my love of healthcare, science and beauty. This inspired me to establish LJ Aesthetics, a private countryside clinic in Poulton-le-Fylde, Lancashire, where clients receive discreet, one-to-one care in a calm, welcoming and professional environment.
The aesthetics industry is continually evolving, and I am committed to evolving with it. I regularly undertake advanced training, attend manufacturer-led education, professional workshops and industry conferences to ensure my knowledge and skills remain current. This commitment to continuous professional development allows me to provide the latest evidence-based treatments while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality and patient care.
